Ronaldo Ready To Set New Record At FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is set to lead his national side to glory at the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017, which is expected to begin on June 17 to July 2, 2017 in Russia.

The 32-year-old former Manchester United forward helped his side to win the Euro 2016 championship which happens to be a federations trophy, and will be looking up to win the second most recognized FIFA’s trophy when his side land in Russia.

Ronaldo who also helped his club Real Madrid to win the 12th champions league and the Spanish Laliga title, will be looking up to sealing the year 2017 with another major title for his nation.

The FIFA Confederations Cup is a football tournament organized by FIFA in the year preceding the year of the World Cup, where the host will be expected to test the facilities they have put together in a tournament where champions of the various confederation take part.

Portugal will be representing Europe in the tournament, while other nations are Cameroon-African Champions, Chile-South American champions, New Zealand- Oceania, Mexico-North America, Australia-Asia, Germany are world champions while Russia will be playing as host.
