Spanish giant Barcelona are set to intensify bid for Phillipe Coutinho or Eden Hazard as possible replacement for the exit of Brazilian forward Neymar who recently moved to PSG on a world record fee.
According to report, Barcelona have already had a £70m bid for the Brazilian rejected, and Liverpool will remain determined to hold on to their talisman after the Brazilian recently extended his deal for five more years.
With huge funds coming in Barca’s purse now following the sell of Neymar to PSG, Barcelona may be forced to offer a fee beyond £100m, which may make the Reds think twice and hand the Brazilian to the Spanish giant.
While Coutinho reportedly wants to head to the Camp Nou this summer, a move in a year looks more probable.
Barca who urgently know the need for a replacement have also considered Chelsea’s play-maker Eden Hazard, and with so much cash available they will be willing to get either of the two of Hazard or Coutinho.
