Bayern Munich Wants To Appoint Jupp Heynckes As Manager For A Third Time

Bayern Munich are set to hire the services of their former manager Jupp Heynckes as manager to replace Ancelotti until the end of the season.

Bayern sacked Carlo Ancelotti last week after their 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and have now secured 72-year-old Heynckes until the end of the season, according to German outlet Bild .

Jupp Heynckes announced his retirement from management when he left Bayern in 2013 after winning the treble in his second spell at the club and management got the services of Pep Guardiola to replace him.

The decision to have the former Bayern boss back came after management spoke to former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, with Hoffenheim chief Julian Nagelsmann also linked with the role.
