The Brazilian national team was pictured recovering with oxygen masks after an away goalless draw with Bolivia on Thursday night.
Though Brazil had already qualified for the Russia 2018 World Cup, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and other team mates who played in La Paz at 3,640m above sea level were good with a point which was okay for the team.
Mirror Sport reported that after a draining evening, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar posted a picture of him and his team-mates online, writing that it was “inhumane” to play in such conditions. He added that the “field, altitude and ball were all bad”.
The source also revealed that though Brazil boss Tite was satisfied with his team’s performance, he however highlighted the challenges faced by playing at altitude after his team’s goalless World Cup qualifier.
Brazil made series of goal attempts through Neymar and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, but a remarkable performance by Bolivia goalkeeper Carlos Lampe.
Brazil manager was further quoted by Mirror Sport to have showered praises on the medical team for living up to expectation by saying:
I have to praise our professionals for all the logistics of the medical department that gave all the support to make people feel the effects less.”
