Egyptian national team coach Hector Cuper has emerged as the Coach of the year in the Aiteo CAF Award 2017 taking place in Accra Ghana.
The 62-year-old Argentine guided Egypt national team to qualify for the 2018 World cup after Egypt had missed out of the football tournament since 1990.
Though he led the Pharoahs of Egypt to the final of the AFCON 2017 finals in Gabon, his side missed out after losing 2-1 to Cameroon in the finals.
More so, the Egyptian national team also emerged as the team of the year in the CAF Award 2017 under him making the Argentine winning both an individual and team award while in charge of the Egypt national team.
Hector who was appointed on March 2nd, 2015 has played 30 games since in charge and have won 19, Drew 5 and lost 6.
