Juventus have made one of their greatest signings of all time, getting the signature of one of the two most talked about footballers in the world today to play at the biggest club in Serie A.
No doubt, Juventus have monopolized the Serie A title in the last seven seasons, winning it in a row with just three clubs Milan, Roma and Napoli finishing as runners-up in all seven occasions.
Despite being at the top of Serie A in the last seven seasons in a row, Juve have failed to experience a champions league glory in all of these years making it obvious that what could be topmost for the Serie A giant now could just be the Champions League.
Interestingly, they reached the final on two occasions in 2015 and 2017 respectively and losing on the two occasions to two Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, with their new signing Cristiano Ronaldo playing a vital role in their second loss.
Now, 33-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo who has moved to Juve understands the mood of the club and should also bear in mind that Juve will look up to him to enable them experience Champions League glory after playing a role in denying them success in 2017.
The last time Juventus won the champions league was in 1996 and it was indeed their second title since its inception, but Juve have finished as Runners-up more than any other club in Europe, losing at the finals seven times and experiencing seven bitter moments.
Cristiano Ronaldo who is coming from Real Madrid with the aura of three consecutive Champions League will surely find himself under pressure to influence the Italian side to their third Europe title, an act which he will be willing to do.
But will Ronaldo be able to face that fact, bearing in mind that winning the Serie A title is not a strange thing to Juve, as the club looks forward to that moment, when their record signing will bring them some luck in Europe.
