Chelsea’s Win Over Bournemouth Levels Club’s Record With Manchester United

Chelsea humbled ambitious Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge with a 3-0 blow that left their visitor move down to the 13th position on the premier league table with 21 points.

The win sets a new record for Chelsea as a club, as this is the first time they would have a 12 consecutive premier league win, it also levels Conte’s men with Manchester United record of August 20, 2000 in which United had their longest run in premier league under Sir Alex Ferguson.

A win for Chelsea in their next match against Stoke City, will make them move closer to Arsenal’s 14 consecutive record of 2002, which is the highest so far in the premier league.

The win also makes Chelsea go seven points clear off on the premier league table, while they await Liverpool’s performance tonight to determine if it could be reduced to six points.
