Coutinho Scores First Goal As Barcelona Cruise To Final of Copa del Rey

Philippe Coutinho opened scoring for Barcelona as the Spanish giant beat Valencia to reach their fifth successive Copa del Rey final in style with his goal being the first of the 2-0 win.

The Brazilian midfielder made his fifth appearance since a £142m move from Liverpool in the second half and acrobatically steered home from Luis Suarez’s cross.

Before Rakitic scored a late goal in 82 minutes to seal Barca’s victory and making them progress on 3-0 aggregate after first-leg 1-0 win.

The victory means Barca will clash with Sevilla in the final to pursue their 30th Cop del Rey title while Sevilla will be hoping to win their 6th title.
