Defending Champions Finish 10th On Premier League Table

The defending champions of the premier league Chelsea, played a 1-1 draw against current champions Leicester at Stamford Bridge to finish 10th on the premier league table.

A win for Leicester City was insignificant, since they had already won the title before the final match day while a win for Chelsea would have kept them on the 9th position which they eventually lost courtesy of Stoke City’s 2-1 defeat of West Ham which gave Stoke the edge.

Leicester City manager Ranieri was given a warm handshake and hug as he arrived at Stamford Bridge by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, the man who sacked him 12 years ago while he was in charge of the blues.

With the 1-1 draw, Leicester completed their campaign 10 points clear of second-placed Arsenal, while Chelsea finish in 10th place.
