Former Ivorian football international and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has showered encomiums on Ahmed Musa for the first goal which he scored in Super Eagles 2-0 win over Iceland.
The former Ivory Coast international who spoke on BBC said:
”That’s a great finish, the first touch is unbelievable, that is the perfect touch to finish a goal, a good goal, a good touch most of the time is a goal.
”The difficulty in controlling the ball makes it a beautiful goal.”
Drogba who was described as “The Icon of African Football” at the 2006 World Cup applauded the skill of Musa in the first goal.
Musa controlled a cross from Victor Moses before firing home a spectacular half volley from close range past the Iceland goalkeeper, Hannes Halldorsen.
