Prince Williams who appreciated the support shown by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control said it was a very difficult task convincing the international boxing federations and other international stakeholders to have the competition in Lagos-Nigeria, with Mexico and other nations been considered ahead of Nigeria.

The patriotic British-residence-Nigerian told press men that his desire to contribute his quota towards the development of Boxing in Nigeria played a major role in bringing the fight to Nigeria.

He also informed press men that the range of the fights are Super Middle Weight and World Title Fight with elites boxers such as ChopChop Corley, Jesus Ortega, Aaron Corley, Paul Valenzuela, King Davidson and Eugen Buchmueller all  expected to compete in the championship.

Aside developing boxing as a game, Prince Williams also noted that the championship would also afford tourism an opportunity to flourish in Lagos since boxing works hand in hand with it.
