Euro 2016: Debutant Wales Make History At Expense of Belgium

Wales are through to the semifinal of the Euro 2016 after giving Belgium a shocking showdown at Stade Pierre-Mauroy stadium, where a 3-1 defeat ended their hope of winning the title.Wales became historical yesterday, qualifying for a major tournament for the first time and reaching the semifinal of same tournament at the expense of the world’s second best team.

Wales first made a positive impact in the tournament after they finished top of the group with six points ahead of England who beat them 2-1 during their group encounter. This outstanding performance sent signal to other teams that they were capable of causing an upset.

They are determined despite seen as underdogs in the match against Belgium, but they proved a point, making their side a team to be beaten as far as the competition is concerned.
