Fabregas Scores Twice To Give Chelsea An Edge Against Leicester City

Former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas scored twice in extra time for Chelsea, as Conte’s men came from two goals down to beat a 10-man Leicester City, to reach the EFL Cup fourth round.

Leicester City took the lead through Shinji Okazaki’s header in 17 minutes and Wasilewsk goal which came in 34 minutes putting Leicester City in drivers seat, but Gary Cahill nod gave the blues a goal before the break.

Chelsea Cesar Azpilicueta equalised with a long-range shot before Foxes defender Marcin Wasilewski was given a marching order.

Fabregas’ became the hero of the match, scoring twice in extra time to give the blues victory, as it was very obvious that Leicester City paid dearly for the elbowing of the Diego Costa which led to the sending off of Wasilewski.
