Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has arrived at Carrington to undergo treatment after picking up an injury on international duty.
The 29-year-old who helped his nation secure a place in next year’s world cup suffered knee ligament damage during Belgium’s 4-3 2018 World Cup qualifier win against Bosnia.
Mirror Sport reports that he is back in Manchester United, and the midfielder will undergo a full prognosis to find out the extent of his damage and proceed with treatment time.
Manchester United will be traveling to Anfield on Saturday to continue their unbeaten streak, and Mourinho will be looking up to the Belgian to assist in their quest for victory.
Fellaini has hit form recently in United, scoring twice against Crystal Palace for the Red Devils. His injury comes as a huge blow to Jose Mourinho who is already without £89million man Paul Pogba.
