Fidelis Ilechukwu Resigns As MFM Coach

MFM FC head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has resigned, the manager who had a stint with the club for 10 years tendered his resignation after helping the Olukoya boys survive relegation in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The manager delivered a 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on the last day of the 2016 season, heaving a sigh of relief which saw MFM finish 16th position on the table and avoided facing relegation which would have taken his side to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Saving the team from relegation was probably his last gift for the club, as it would have been rumoured that he resigned because the team was relegated if he had failed to salvage the situation.

Though there are speculations that he intends to go on refreshers course, it is yet to be confirmed how truth that is.
