Turkish giants Galatasaray have come to the rescue of former Arsenal Player Emmanuel Eboue, offering him a coaching job after the Ivorian lost all his asset to his wife in a divorce battle.
The 34-year-old Ivorian who also played for the Turkish giant during his hey days spends his time hiding from bailiffs and sometimes sleeps on the floor of a friend’s home. He even travels by bus and cleans his clothes by hand because he does not have a washing machine anymore according to reports from Mirror Sport.
At a time when it looked as if all was lost in the life of the Ivorian, he got a lifeline from the manager of his former club as a coach of their Under-14s.
Mirror Sport reported that Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim told CNN that: ‘We heard news about Eboue in the dressing room. I was informed there, we will do whatever we can to help my friend.”
Eboue who is currently unable to play football because of ill-health, was reported to say he has been pushed to the brink but he will be left with no other option than to start life anew.
