England’s number one goalkeeper Joe Hart wants to stay at Torino on a permanent deal but coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says Torino cannot afford to sign Manchester City goalkeeper.
The 29-year-old English goalkeeper joined the the Serie A club on a season-long loan in August after he was told by new manager Pep Guardiola that he was free to leave the club
BBC Sport once quoted the England goalkeeper to say he is “surplus requirements” at City.
Torino coach said that at most they can take him on loan for another year but that depends on both Manchester City and him.
The manager further added that “We will need to know if Hart is going to be here next year because if he’s not then we’ll need to change the way we play.”
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola who spoke on the issue refused to discuss if Hart could have his loan spell extended in Turin or not. “At the end of the season we are going to speak about the players who are under contract next year and about the loan players,” he said.
