Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has come out to defend his manager Jose Mourinho insisting that he is “Real” and does does not fake his emotions like most managers in the premier league.
Lukaku who spoke to BBC Sport following Tottenham’s 3-0 defeat of Manchester United at Old Trafford which was followed with an angry news conference said “Mourinho demanded respect from the media”.
“I don’t understand why people don’t like the realness about him. When he’s mad at me I know he is mad at me, and I try to do what he wants so he is happy again”, Lukaku told Dion Dublin on Football Focus on BBC One.
“People know a side from him which is he’s a winner,” said Lukaku.
“But what I like about him is he’s not going to fake his emotions. When he’s mad, you know he is mad. When he’s happy, you see he is happy.
But Lukaku also stated that the Portuguese manager is a family man, he makes the players laugh and fights for them, and believes he deserves some respect.
