Leicester City Wants Iheanacho To Improve

Leicester City have insisted that Kelechi Iheanacho will stay this month but the club wants the big-money striker to work harder according to reports from Mirror Sport.

The Super Eagles forward cost Leicester £25million in August from Manchester City and is currently one of the club’s top earners.

The 21-year-old Iheanacho has looked a shadow of the player who averaged a goal every 106 minutes in the Premier League for City.

But Leicester City manager Claude Puel has this to say about Iheanacho:

He will stay with us. Iheanacho is a young player who signed this season with us.

We have to develop him. I hope he can have more game-time in the second part of the season.

He arrived in a good team with competition and he needs to continue to work and improve.

He will take the time to improve and to work.”
