Alexis Sanchez made his first appearance this season for Arsenal and would probably be shocked to be part of the squad that was humiliated at Anfield after his side was hammered 4-0 by Liverpool.
The Chilean has been heavily linked to Manchester City, where media speculations suggests he wants to re-unite with his former manager Pep Guardiola.
Though the 28-year-old former Barcelona forward is yet to make a public statement on whether he will be leaving Emirate stadium or not, the humiliation which his side faced at Anfield may propel the Chilean to leave Emirate as it is very obvious that Sanchez is longing for glory, which Arsenal has failed to give to him.
Sanchez struggled to salvage his side in his first appearance for his club, his efforts proved abortive as he could not net, but Arsene Wenger substituted him for summer signing Alexandre Lacazette who came half-way of the second half but still proved abortive.
Arsenal will not be playing in the champions league this season after failing to finish top four last season, and it is believed that the Chilean will wish to play in the champions league.
With just three days left towards the close of the summer transfer window, Alexis Sanchez will be left to make a decision on whether he will have to remain in Arsenal or not.
