Liverpool Beat Chelsea Again At Stamford Bridge

For the second time, Liverpool have emerged victorious at Stamford Bridge irrespective of the change of manager which Chelsea made after the sack of former boss Jose Mourinho.

Liverpool took the lead in the first half by two goals, courtesy of Lovren and Henderson in the 17′ and 36′ minutes respectively, giving the visitors a win by half time.

Conte’s men came out a bit determined and desired to please their fans by coming back, as at 61 minutes Diego Costa scored Chelsea’s only goal despite the fact that hopes were high on the tendency of Chelsea coming back.

Both teams have a lot of work to do in their defence, as it is obvious that Chelsea has more work to do.

The away win for Liverpool takes them to 10 points from from five matches and are currently on fourth position, but that would also be determined by the outcome of Manchester United and Tottenham’s match.

Chelsea who are on the third position after the loss, will depend largely on Manchester United and Tottenham to determine if they will remain on the top four at the end of the week.
