There would be celebration in England for other premier league clubs as Manchester City lost to Liverpool at Anfield to end their 22 unbeaten streak which came to an end in a thriller win.
Chamberlain, Firminho, Mane and Salah all registered one goal each for Liverpool to ensure that victory was achieved at Anfield against league leaders.
Though Liverpool won, but they were not disciplined in their lead, allowing an attacking side like City to attempt to level up with just a few minutes left to end the match.
This is arguably the first match in the premier league this season, where City would concede three goals, but they were gallant even in defeat.
The victory means Liverpool are now in third position with 47 points and are 15 points behind Manchester City who still remain on top with a cruising lead, but United’s next match would determine if that gap would be closed.
