Romelu Lukaku has joined Cristiano Ronaldo in the battle for the Russia 2018 world Cup golden boot after scoring a brace in Belgium’s 5-2 defeat of Tunisia.
Lukaku who scored twice in the win now has four goals to his name in the tournament and is leveled with Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo who scored four goals in two matches.
The victory takes Belgium to the top of the table with six points, while Tunisia who suffered their second defeat are technically out of the tournament following the loss.
Tunisia came out to attack the European side more in the second half, but their attack was not good enough to face the star-studded side which Belgium paraded.
Belgium will now play England in the final group match of the competition.
