Manchester City seems to be the favourites to get the signature of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez after Bayern Munich were put off by the Chilean’s wage demands.
According to The Telegraph which quoted the Mirror to state that Sanchez wants in excess of £350,000-a-week to leave the Gunners, who will ask for around £50 million for the forward after he helped Chile book their place in the final of the Russia 2017 Confederations Cup last night in Kazan.
Bayern’s interest in the Chilean was discouraged by the big-money wages which he is talking about, and his contract with Arsenal is set to run out in the next 12 months.
Arsenal who are now looking for replacement for the Chilean, have put Thomas Lemar topmost on their priority list according to report from The Telegraph.
Although Gunners are also heavily linked with Leicester City’s Riyard Mahrez, but may put more pressure on their quest to have him if their interest in Lemar is turned down.
