Manchester City 2-1 Bristol City: Pep Guardiola Men On Point For Four Trophies

Manchester City have kept their hopes of four trophies this season alive after defeating Bristol City 2-1 in the first-leg of the Carabao Cup to give them an advantage ahead of their second-leg clash at the Etihad stadium.

The win becomes very significant since Bristol City who are coming from the championship have earlier sent four premier league teams packing from the tournament: Watford, Stoke, Crystal Palace and famously United in the quarter-finals.

The win was also a heartbreak for the Championship side who worked hard to get to this stage. Though they are not out, but they will need a miracle to get a win at Etihad stadium, in the second-leg.

But Pep Guardiola’s City who are currently on top of the premier league table with 15 points clear off Manchester United may just need to sustain their unbeaten streak to guarantee at least three trophies this season.

Pep Guardiola wil need to prove a point here, just like the Catalan did while in charge of Barcelona, winning six trophies in his first season.
