Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has made an incredible player-plus-cash offer to Arsenal, asking for Alexis Sanchez with just two days left to deadline of close of transfer window.
According to reports, City have offered to put Raheem Sterling into the deal to try and sign Sanchez before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Arsenal have insisted that the Chilean is not for sale even though he only has one year left on his contract.
But reports from Mirror Sport suggests that there has now been direct contact between the Manchester City and Arsenal, and City have made the shock offer involving Sterling.
Sterling who seem to be the sacrificial lamb in this deal have made significant impact in City since the begin of this season, scoring the goal against Bournemouth in away match and equalizer against Everton at the Etihad stadium.
According to reports from Sky Sports News, Chile national team manager Juan Antonio Pizzi has advised Alexis Sanchez to stay back and complete his personal transactions before returning to camp ahead of the international break.
Further reports confirms that Manchester City who are desperately in need of the Chilean forward will also be willing to fly their medical staff to Chile in a bid to complete Alexis Sanchez deal.
