Manchester City mauled West Brom a resounding 3-0 to move 15 points clear at the top of the Premier League in an outclassing manner at the Etihad Stadium.
The victory shows that they are not in anyway contesting the league with anyone after Chelsea and United who were supposed competitors all lost in a humiliating manner in their own various encounters.
Fernandinho slipped in a finish from Kevin de Bruyne’s surgical through ball to put the hosts ahead in a dominant first-half performance that sparked-off celebration at the Etihad stadium.
Then De Bruyne rounded off a sharp counter-attack by tapping in the second from Raheem Sterling’s pass from a safe move.
Sterling then set up Aguero with his sixth assist for a the third with a cute reverse ball in the last minute of normal time.
West Brom only made their first effort on goal in the 88th minute after on-loan striker Daniel Sturridge was brought off the bench for his debut.
