Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has already spent £210million this summer in the transfer market but wants to bring two more faces to his squad before the close of the transfer window according to report.
With less than two weeks left towards the close of the transfer window, City are ready to take their spending past the £300million budget by bringing Alexis Sanchez and Jonny Evans to the Etihad Stadium.
Though Arsenal have stated that they are not willing to sell Sanchez, but City are determined to test Arsenal’s resolve over Sanchez with a £70million offer to reunite the Chile star with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad according to the Mirror Sport.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is digging his heels in over Sanchez and City have yet to make a formal bid. But talks have taken place as they try to capitalize on the Chile striker, who has only 10 months left on his current contract.
Mirror Sport states it is Wenger who is insisting he cannot be sold and he has the full support of the board as he knows the implication as there would be a massive backlash from the fans.
