Manchester United Thrash Feyenoord To Keep Europa League Fate Alive

Manchester United have moved closer to qualifying for the last 32, after thrashing visiting Feyenoord 4-0 at the Old Trafford stadium, the win takes them to 9 points, and they will need a win or draw in their next match to move ahead.

United’s captain Wayne Rooney scored his 39th European goal for his club, to become the club’s reord European goal scorer before setting up Juan Mata to score the second goal of the match.

Manchester United’s ¬£26m summer signing Henrikh¬†Mkhitaryan was impressive on only his second start for the club.

Mourinho has said the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who had previously managed only 134 minutes for United, needs time to adapt to the “intensity and aggression” of the English game.

The win is Manchester United’s biggest win since Jose Mourinho took charge of the club.
