Mayweather Announce Retirement For A Second Time, Hails McGregor

Floyd Mayweather has announced his retirement from boxing after beating Irish fighter McGregor in the 10th round of the big fight which took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The retirement was announced after his 50th undefeated run and it is actually coming for the second time, after the 40-year-old announced his retirement two years ago.

In his parting words Mayweather has this to say:

“I told you I was going for the knockout. When you go straight ahead, you’re going to take contact. I had some great fights, I had some boring fights. I’ll be remembered as a winner”.

“I just stick to the game plan”.

No doubt, Mayweather has high respect for his opponent McGregor, whom he described as “Tough Competitor” and went further to say that they gave the fans what they wanted to see.

Floyd says ” He is a lot better than I thought he was, he used different angles, he is tough competitor, but I was the better man tonight”.
