Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho avoided answering question about the fate of German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteger. This he did during press conference, while reacting to United’s preparedness for the community shield.
When asked about the the exclusion of the German international, Mourinho said “We have 22 and we are going to have 23. You are right, I don’t like to speak about other clubs or players from other clubs. Other managers like to do that, they like to speak about my club and my players. I am very pragmatic on this
He further gave account of the club’s effort to get Juventus forward Paul Pogba to United as a means of avoiding the issue of his exclusion of Schweinsteger from the main team.
It will be recalled that there have been allegation against Jose Mourinho, and threats of possible taking the manager to court for bullying Bastian Schweinsteger.
