Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has tipped the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Senegal to qualify from their various Groups and reach the round of 16 of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Mirror Sport reported that the former Chelsea boss who was a guest at RT made a prediction of teams to reach last 16 and predicted that Nigeria will finish behind Argentina to meet France in the round of 16.
The Portuguese was also optimistic that Senegal will scale through to the round of 16 where he predicted that the African side will meet Belgium when they progress.
Mirror Sport further disclosed the United boss while wishing his players well at the World Cup also wanted them to go on holiday.
“I want my players to win, but I also want my players to go on holiday. So this will be tough,” he said as a guest host on RT.
Mourinho who also gave the defending champions a nod to the round of 16 was quoted to say “Germany has to win, followed by Mexico in the runners-up spot.
He also predicted that tournament favourites Brazil will reach the round of 16, while Spain, England, Switzerland, Australia, Uruguay, Portugal and host Russia will all join.
