The former Super Eagles player Peterside Idah has revealed that the Nigeria Football Federation were owing the late Amodu Shuaibu seven months salary before his death.
Peterside Idah who is now a pastor and founder of Christ Ambassadors Church South Africa, went to tweeter upon hearing the death of the former Eagles boss, to express his displeasure over the Federation’s irresponsible act which may also be a source leading to the death of the late Amodu.
Amodu called me before his death, to say that he was owed about seven months salary and has not been paid.
The former Super Eagles player also pointed that he (Peterside Idah) was the Media Officer of the late former Eagles coach. He was a showman who has plans for the team while in charge.
Peterside Idah while paying tribute to the late Amodu Shuaibu on tweeter, simply wrote “My coach, my mentor ,my friend ,my boss is dead
#RIPAmoduShuaibu. He also charged the NFF to pay those who are still alive and not wait for them to die.
It will be recalled that former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh resigned from his position as Super Eagles coach, after he was paid arrears of four months salary.
