The destiny of Plateau United are solely in their hands as they are at the verge of making history if they can get an away win when they clash with Wikki Tourist on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football league.
With just two matches left to end the Nigeria Professional Football League season, Plateau United are currently on top with 63 points and are trailed by MFM who have 59 points, four points adrift the league leaders.
Coach Boboye’s boys will need outright win on Sunday to win their first ever league title, while a draw will mean they will have to wait till the final day of season to determine if they will win the title.
In their final league match, Plateau United will be playing host to defending champions Enugu Rangers, a match which may be difficult for them to win, as the Enugu boys who are currently seated on 8th position on the table may cause an upset.
Plateau United who have never won the NPFL title will possibly do everything possible to win the title, but an outright win is the easiest way to win it.
