Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will be looking up to his side inflicting more pains on Arsenal when the two sides lock horns today in premier league clash.
Both City and Arsenal missed their premier league weekend game against each other following their meeting in the finals of the Carabao Cup and it has been rescheduled for Thursday evening.
City beat Arsenal in the clash to cling the Carabao Cup, denying Arsenal their surest means of winning a silverware this season, but City boss believes his side could do more when they meet tonight.
BBC Sport quoted Pep Guardiola to say:“Arsenal is always a hard game. Maybe they have not been consistent this season but they are so strong at home. When I have been there, it is always tough.
“Forget about what you have done and move on to the next one. We won and are happy but we are thinking about tomorrow’s game. In May, we are going to think about the season.”
Manchester City are hoping to become the first team to beat Arsenal three times in the same season since Chelsea in 2005-06 when both sides meet.
City are currently 13 points clear off Manchester United, and will be hoping to their 16 points lead when they beat Arsenal.
