Barcelona may not seem to be the only team interested in signing Liverpool’s jersey No 10, as French giants Paris Saint-German have also shown interest in signing the Brazilian according to reports.
Mirror Sport reports that Paris Saint-Germain also apparently touched base with the player’s representative on Monday, with sporting director Antero Henrique also asking Joorabchian to be kept abreast of any talks and possible offers from the Catalan giants.
Hence PSG’s hopes of persuading Coutinho to swap his dream move to Camp Nou for the French giants simply means that they want him to join his Brazilian counter-parts.
Coutinho saw his international teammate Neymar swap Barcelona for PSG during the summer, while fellow Selecao teammates Marquinhos, Dani Alves and Thiago Silva are also key men for the Ligue 1 leaders.
It will also be recalled that Dani Alves confessed that he was at the verge of moving to Manchester City before he was convinced to join the French sides.
