Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has released a 30-man provincial squad that will carry the nations flag in the Russia 2018 World Cup next month when the tournament kicks off.
Nigeria’s professional football league leading top scorer Junior Lokosa and Simeon Nwankwo are the new faces whom the German tactician included on his list.
Super Eagles regulars such as John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses, William Troost-Ekong and defensive partner Leon Balogun were included in the list.
Also in the team list are European based players such as Leicester City’s duo of Wilfried Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Ogenyi Onazi, Kenneth Omeruo, Ahmed Musa and China-based Odion Ighalo.
