Ronaldo Could Still Be World’s Most Charitable Sportsperson For 2016

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo could still maintain his position as world’s most charitable sportsperson in 2016, after the Portuguese forward donated his uefa champions league €600,000 winning match bonus to charity according to Independent.

The former Manchester United forward , was named the world’s most charitable sportsperson last year, after making series of donation towards charity more than any other sportsperson in the year 2015.

The 31-year-old has supported a number of charities throughout his career, including Unicef, World Vision and Save the Children programme.

It will be recalled that after an earthquake last year in Nepal where over 8,000 people were killed, Ronaldo donated £5million to the latter to help their aid efforts in the country.
