Rooney Seeks Back-To-Back Europa League Title At The Expense of Arsenal

Former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney will be looking forward to win the Europa league title for the second time after winning it with Manchester United last season.

The 31-year-old who made history with the Old Trafford team by captaining United to win the second-tier European league cup, have since moved to his boyhood club Everton and hopes to replicate same with Everton.

Rooney will be glad to be part of Everton’s historical quest to conquer in Europe, and knows that winning the title could give Koeman’s men an opportunity to be in Europe next season.

The draws for the Europa league will take place at Monaco on Friday, and Rooney understands that that fellow premier league rivals Arsenal could just be a threat towards his accomplishing his mission with Everton.
