Rooney’s Two-Year Driving Ban: What Would Happen To His Expensive Cars?

Everton’s summer signing Wayne Rooney has been banned from driving for two years by Stockport Magistrates’ Court, after the 31-year-old pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was also ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community.

Rooney had already apologized to his family, manager, chairman fans and everyone at Everton FC but the next question is what happens to his cars?

Rooney’s BMW i8 cost over £100,000 to buy and boasts a maximum speed of 155mph, it goes from 0-6-mph in 4.4 seconds it is the car he usually drive while he was in Manchester United, but is yet to be seen driving it since arrival to Everton.

The former United forward was also seen driving an Audi during his last season at Old Trafford, the Audi Q7 would cost around £50,000 and has a top speed of 144mph. The car is able to go from 0-62mpg in around 7.3 seconds.

Mirror Sport reports that Rooney’s Range Rover car is modified by overfinch it would cost more than a normal  price but you would be paying over £200,000.The average speed of the car is between 128-161mph and It goes from 0-60mph in eight seconds.

Obviously, Wayne Rooney will be left with no other option than to leave his cars in the garage for another two years, a life which he must learn to leave with unless he decides to be charitable with his cars but time will tell.
