Manchester United newest signing Alexis Sanchez has admitted that he has been disappointed with his start to life at his new club according to sources.
The 29-year-old former Barcelona forward joined the Red Devils in January from Arsenal in a deal that makes him the Premier League’s best-paid player.
Mirror Sport however reports that: “But things haven’t run smoothly for the former Barcelona star, with Sanchez scoring just once in 10 games following his switch”.
The source further disclosed that: “His performances have come under close scrutiny and the Chilean was left on the substitutes’ bench for the FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton last weekend”.
And speaking in Sweden on Wednesday, Sanchez made clear that he too had not been satisfied with his performances thus far, while also admitting his United struggles had seen him question whether he should skip linking up with his national team.
