The West African side came back in the second half more determined, and were not moved by the possession which the South American enjoyed but looked on to counter to make the difference.

The Arsenal forward ensured pressure was removed from The Super Eagles when he slotted in Nigeria’s fourth goal from Ahmed Musa’s assist to make the scoreline 2-4 in 73′ minutes.
Though Argentina made series of tactical efforts to break into the Nigerian defence, but it was obvious that Rohr had sealed the defense line during the half-time to ensure there was no breakthrough.
Mikel Obi who captained the Eagles in the victory took full charge of the midfield and ensured Argentina did not have an edge, and he was brought down on one occasion while trying to make a through run for the West African side.
The win is Nigeria’s third win against Argentina, and it all came in friendly matches as the Eagles are yet to defeat Argentina in any competitive competition.
