Suspected Bomb Explosion Lead To Postponement of Manchester United Match At Old Trafford

Fans of Manchester United gave up and left the Old Trafford stadium, when a controlled explosion was carried out at Old Trafford after a suspect package was found ahead of Manchester United’s match against Bournemouth.

Two stands were basically affected, the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand and the Stretford End. -They were evacuated before the final game of the season and sniffer dogs were brought in to do further combing in the area.

Kick-off was supposed to take place by 15:00, but it was delayed and shortly afterwards the match was abandoned based on advice from the police.

Subsequently, a bomb disposal team carried out the explosion at about 16:30 to determine the situation of things..
