Tottenham have unveiled Davinson Sanchez as their club record signing before the close of summer transfer window in a £38m deal from Ajax.
Spurs also announced that the 21-year-old Colombian will wear the No.6 shirt after finalising the paper work on a six-year contract until 2023.
Mirror Sport reported that the Colombian after signing his contract said this: “Hi, I’m Davinson Sanchez, I’m happy to be here, Come on Spurs!”
Tottenham made an official statement to the signing which read: “We are delighted to announce that Davinson Sanchez has completed his move to the Club subject to receipt of his work permit later this week.
“The 21-year-old who completed his medical and paperwork today will wear the number six shirt and he is arguably the first signing Spurs have made this summer.
Sanchez who won the Rinus Michels Players of the Year award could not hide his delight at sealing his move to the Premier League.
