Manchester United will be seeking to face one of her biggest test tonight when they face back-to-back UEFA champions league winner Real Madrid, in the UEFA Super Cup at the Phillip II Arena stadium tonight.
Both teams will meet in an atmosphere that has reached 40 degrees celsius in the day, as Uefa have decided to observe two breaks during the match, to enable both teams re-hydrate in the match. The first break will be observed in 30 minutes mark, while the second will be in 75 minutes.
The match will give Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho an opportunity to win his first ever UEFA Super Cup after losing it twice while in charge of Porto and Chelsea in 2003 and 2013 respectively, while Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will be looking up to win the Cup back-to-back having won the immediate edition in 2016.
The match will also give Manchester United an opportunity to win her second UEFA Super Cup having won her first in 1999, while Madrid will be looking up to win her 4th UEFA Super Cup title having won it 2002, 2014 and 2016 respectively.
Madrid will be coming as favourite to win the Cup while United as underdogs, but both managers will share equal pressure to win the title in a clash that will give the Portuguese manager to face his former club since he departed the club in .
