United Thrash Former European Champions To Keep Top Four Hope Alive

Manchester United did the needful on Saturday, by beating already relegated Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford, to keep their dream of finishing top four in the premier league alive.

Marcus Rashford’s  32′ minutes goal did the winning for Van Gaal’s men, who secured the maximum three points available to make them remain hopeful.

Aston Villa who were European champions in 1982, are now to go on relegation for the first time since 29 years, and the defeat confirms their former going on relegation.

The win keeps United fifth on the table, as City who were also on fourth position won their match against Chelsea to move to third position, keeping Arsenal on fourth pending their next match.

With five more matches to go for Van Gaal’s men, they are hoping that may be their could be an upset for City some how to enable them move up.
