Barely an hour after Sport Intelligence published on their web that the Nigeria Football Federation are owing the late former technical director Amodu Shuaibu seven months salary before he died, NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi has responded, clarifying issues on the allegation.
Sanusi tweeted, “Every member of NFF management is being owed salaries for two (2) months. The NFF will pay all monies due the late Amodu to his family.
The scribe of the NFF further confirmed that what NFF was owing the late Amodu Shuaibu was two months salary. And this will be duly paid to his family in due course.
Four-time Super Eagles coach Amodu Shuaibu, who died on June 11 in Benin City barely three days after Stephen Keshi’s death was buried in his home town in Okpella according to Muslim rites.
He is survived by his wife, eight children and an aged mother.
