Wenger Ascribes Arsenal’s 3-1 Loss At Etihad Stadium To Poor Officiating

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was quick to identify that his side was defeated by City due to poor officiating which saw Manchester City win by 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Wenger who spoke in a post match conference was quoted by BBC to say that “Sterling dived well” in the 18-yard-box which saw referee give a penalty which Aguero converted into City’s second goal.

Further more, the Frenchman was quoted by BBC to say “It is unfortunate that the game finished the way it finished,”. “You can accept it if City win in a normal way, but this is unacceptable.”.

Unfortunately, Wenger failed to thank Petr Cech who saved series of goals in the first half thereby making the host become wasteful.
