Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has set a new record of becoming the first manager in the history of the Champions League to win three consecutive title.
Though the former Madrid joined the league of managers (Bop Paisley and Carlo Ancelotti)who have won three Champions League in history, he added extra beauty to his feat by becoming the first to win it three consecutive times.
More so, the victory also ends all speculations of the manager’s possibility of being sacked after all he has delivered his 9th trophy since in charge of Real Madrid in style.
Zidane has also proved that he has got what it takes to manage big players as no issue has ever been heard of him disagreeing with the big stars he inherited.
As an outstanding manager, he also proved he knows how to make the right changes, bringing in Gareth Bale at a point when the British salvaged the team after scoring two spectacular goals.
Zidane will be looking forward to pursue his 10th and 11th titles when he leads Madrid to the UEFA Supercup against Atletico Madrid and later in December when he will go for the FIFA Club World Cup.
